Our curriculum

The first 5 years of a child's life are the most important! During those first 5 years, a child will absorb knowledge from all around them! We at Hearts & Hands strive to make your child's time with us to be full of learning, unique experiences and lots of knowledge. From 8 weeks of age, pre-kindergarten to Schoolage, Hearts & Hands is full of lots of learning and fun! Hearts & Hands has a curriculum with weekly themes, educational art projects, and stories that are geared for children of all ages. All curriculum materials are included in your weekly fee. Our goal is to have your child well prepared for school in the future!

Infants : 6weeks-12months

Each day your child will be discovering things using all five senses, copying simple actions of the people around them, experimenting with toy instruments, exploring textures, colors, and learning a variety of words and sounds through playing with other children.

During their time with us your child will learn to count, discover writing and music, and start building toward following simple instructions, writing, and the potty. Each day is packed with carefully designed activities structured around the six main development areas.

Preschool : 3,4,5’s

With improved coordination and thinking the world begins to open up for preschoolers. Our program introduces languages and social skills in a natural sequence to nourish learning one step and a time, with individual attention suited to your child’s unique needs.

Kindergarten

Your child will gain independence while getting ready for the transition to First Grade with a more organized environment. Our passionate teachers will partner with you during this special time making this the best it can be.
